Double digits for the littlest in the family means a big gift and the Fusion scooter is perfect. Its bigger than I thought, not bc I didn’t know dimensions, but my son is on the smaller side and he seems small on the scooter. But no problem! He rides it well and it handles beautifully! We had young adults and teens testing it out. They said its zippy and quicker than they thought it would be but feels safe and sturdy. I bought this on sale and feel its a great price! It might be too tall for anyone younger than 10-ish but its def perfect for bigger kids and adults alike. We’ve only had it a day but its getting lots of use. Worth the buy for sure!
I literally crashed this bike going top speed hitting a speed bump flying off like super man and this thing still worked a couple things bent obviously but they were easy to remove and items easy to bend back into place like the gear for the chain. Even after i crashed was still able to make it 5 MILES HOME i have no idea how people say this things doesnt work properly or doesnt work but even after all that it stikk charges and rides smooth
When new stock will come? I need one please.
Save yourself the nightmare of dealing with Gotrax Scooters. Bought this scooter and had it break down within two months. Sent me a new scooter and the battery doesn’t work after 500 miles. They truly are not intended for daily use. And the catch is you need to keep the battery in use or it will completely stop working. Customer service is a complete joke on top of it. Could hear Michael laughing on the phone when I was complaining about my experience and how I rely on this scooter for getting to work. Still waiting on a call from Anthony to deal with this situation. I just want a working scooter. Also 5 stars because they delete 1 star reviews. Photo of this barely used scooter that doesn’t work.
Received my new battery in about two weeks and everything is satisfactory.
My grandson loves it. Thanks
My 9 year old loves her new scooter! It was super easy to put together and it works great. Great lights and good speed for her. We took it on a 2 mile trip and it worked with no slowdown (battery had to be low)
I was a little surprise with how short the charger cord is but an extension cord got my the extra length from outlet to scooter.
I can easily go across town and back at full speed (20 mph). Whips around nicely. I'm ~235 lbs and it is so much fun to ride around on. Best sub $1000 purchase ever
I bought this scooter for my 9 year old. It's plenty fast and powerful for him. It also works well for me as I've stolen it a few times. The screen is nice and the little light in the front is cool too. Charge lasts a long time. Great starter scooter.
All good just waiting on the part to be in stock then I’ll order it. Thank you for your help.
The Gotrax G3 Plus is a solid entry-level electric scooter designed for budget-conscious commuters who want performance, portability, and comfort without spending a fortune. With a 300W front-wheel brushless motor, a top speed of up to 18 mph, and 10-inch pneumatic tires, it hits a sweet spot for urban riders looking for a practical solution for short daily commutes. The scooter features a 36V 6.0Ah battery (216Wh), promising a range of up to 18 miles, although real-world performance may fall closer to 7–10 miles depending on rider weight, terrain, temperature, and average speed. Some users even report ranges as low as 4–5 miles after extended storage or several months of use, which suggests battery degradation can be a concern over time. That said, when the battery is new and well-maintained, most casual riders find the range suitable for errands, campus travel, or last-mile commuting. Ride quality is one of the G3 Plus's stronger points. The 10-inch air-filled tires absorb most common road vibrations well, making it more comfortable on rough pavement compared to solid-tire scooters in the same price category. Handling is smooth and stable, especially at speeds under 15 mph. The braking system combines an electronic front brake and a mechanical rear disc brake, offering safe stopping power without being too jerky. While it's not meant for off-roading or steep hills, it performs reliably on gentle inclines and standard bike lanes. In terms of design, the G3 Plus offers practical commuter features. The aluminum alloy frame feels solid, and the folding mechanism is simple and secure, making it easy to collapse and carry onto public transit or into an apartment. At 34.5 pounds, it’s not the lightest option, but still portable for short lifts. The LED display shows speed, battery level, and riding mode clearly in daylight. A front-facing LED headlight is included, although it’s best supplemented with additional lights if you ride in dark areas. There’s no IP water-resistance rating, so riders should avoid wet or rainy conditions, which may be a drawback for year-round commuters.
When it comes to affordability, the G3 Plus stands out. Frequently priced under $350 during sales, it offers a competitive mix of speed, comfort, and safety. Compared to competitors like the Segway Ninebot F25E, TurboAnt M10 Lite, or the NIU KQi2 Pro, the G3 Plus is often cheaper and still delivers comparable ride quality and top speed. However, it lacks the polish and extra features found in some of those alternatives—like app connectivity, better water resistance, or larger batteries. If you’re looking for a premium-feeling scooter, you may want to explore options in the $500–$600 range. But for short commutes and students on a budget, the G3 Plus is difficult to beat.
Some users on forums and Reddit report issues with long-term battery performance, particularly after 6–12 months of use. One key factor is battery maintenance: lithium-ion packs like the one in the G3 Plus should not be left fully discharged for long periods. Storing the scooter with a partially charged battery (40–70%) in a cool, dry place can significantly extend battery life. Riders who follow these guidelines generally report better longevity. Gotrax sells replacement parts like motors, consoles, brakes, and tires directly through their website, which is a plus for users willing to perform light maintenance. Customer support is considered decent, and the included one-year warranty (with optional extension) adds peace of mind. Compared to other models in the Gotrax lineup, the G3 Plus sits between the entry-level Rival and more advanced models like the G4 or G3 Max. The G3 Max, for example, offers nearly double the range and a stronger motor, but at a higher price. The G4 adds digital locking, an upgraded display, and a beefier build, making it a better choice for longer, more frequent commuting. However, these models are also heavier and less portable. Despite its limitations, the Gotrax G3 Plus is a dependable choice for first-time electric scooter buyers and light-duty commuters. Its smooth ride, decent speed, and thoughtful features make it one of the better budget scooters on the market. It’s ideal for rides under 10 miles round-trip, and with proper battery care, can remain a reliable travel companion for well over a year. If you expect long rides, steep hills, or use in unpredictable weather, you’ll want to consider more advanced models or scooters with larger battery packs and water resistance. In summary, the Gotrax G3 Plus delivers excellent value at its price point. It offers the key features most casual riders want—good speed, comfort, safety, and portability—without the bells and whistles that drive up the cost. As long as your expectations align with what the scooter was designed for—short, comfortable, everyday commuting—the G3 Plus is more than up to the task. Treat it right, and it will get you where you need to go safely and smoothly.
I crashed the scooter going 30 miles per hour and I broke my arm and have my intire left side is messed up but the scooter is perfectly OK and nothing happend to it but the miles are not very good for the speed it goes
I got this for my daughter’s birthday and she loves it! I chose the flex voyager because it’s easy for her and me to use and works on all terrain which is perfect for horse shows and getting across the show grounds much more efficiently
