GX1 Dual Motor Electric Scooter

Great scooter. Looks good, rides smooth. The brakes are very loud though I thought breaking them in would help, but it’s persistent and doesn’t seem to go away.

This is my first scooter and I am a 300lbs rider and wasn’t sure what to expect. This thing is fast and seems to pull me around and up hills no problem. The brakes are squeaking pretty bad. When I tried to use the provided tool i stripped out the front brake lever **** while trying to adjust them. They used so much lock tight that it’s gonna be a pain to get out. The handle bars seem to have a slight rattle but they are stable. It says cruse control is off by default (IT WAS NOT) and it can be sketchy the brakes don’t always turn off the cruise control either unless you slam on the brakes or tap the throttle. I wish they would have at least put a button to turn it on and off and not hidden button keys but it works. As for range I haven’t been able to do a true range test but I did a easy 10 miles on it at slower speeds just cruising around but I have had the battery bar randomly go down to 1 bar but after rebooting the scooter it went away. For the most part the GX1 is pretty solid and definitely has the power to rip around with a 300lbs person on it witch is pretty impressive but it’s not perfect but I would recommend it to someone for the $999.
Hopefully in a year or two I feel the same way.

The GX1 Handles well but can really suck down the battery if you ride it hard or climb hills. I did manage a 17 mile ride on it, on pretty flat terrain. Kind of wished I spent the extra for the GX2. Overall it is a lot of fun to ride. Glad I purchased it. Hopefully GoTrax eventually makes a bigger battery I can install.

I love this scooter! My First scooter and it is AWESOME. It does everything just like the ad says. It's Fun, Fast, Quick and Powerful. You will not be disappointed.

By far the coolest thing to rip around on im 235 pounds and it gets up and goes with ease
I bought this because im a truck driver and bring it with me on the road to explore and go get food while im at the hotels definitely worth every penny

The gotrax gx1 is my first electric scooter and must say it's awesome for the price and has plenty of power but just wish I went with the gx3 to get turning signals because the gx1 is more fun than I thought it would be but nonetheless love it

The scooter is terrible it broke almost instantly the speedometer on it said 22e when I rode it yesterday it was ok today it was broken and can’t be fixed and it dislocated my knee

So I’ve had this scooter for about 3 weeks now and have put over 100 miles on it. My previous scooter was an Apex Pro so this was a massive upgrade.

The pros: It accelerates fast. Especially with the sport mode on. Having three separate speed settings (15, 21, & 30 mph) helps customize my ride based on how I’m feeling that day. On the steepest hill at 12% grade, I still go about 15 mph. Which is exceptional with dual motors loaded at 1200W. It lights up a bright blue on the sides and the front so night riding feels much safer.

Cons: The battery life. It’s rated with a 25 mile range, but realistically get about 15-18 miles based on your terrain and average speed. Also, the battery bar is hard to gauge. I wish it had a percentage instead of the traditional battery bar.

But I’ve taken it off road on compacted dirt trails and it’s a blast. The suspension is awesome. I go over my neighborhoods speed bumps and it handles them really well.

A full charge takes about in 4.5-5 hrs.

Overall, fast, stable, and fun scooter.

Scooter was great but the light on the front arrived cracked. I camt figure out how to talk to anyone about yhis either.

The front motor stopped working after 5 days after delivery. I now had to file a claims and have been waiting 2 days for a email or call back. I would suggest not buying this scooter. I will update my review once the warranty department contact me back.

Product arrived and would not turn on. Contacted the company and had to pay $250 to ship back. Do not purchase from this company.

Gx1 Raptor (from Bestbuy)
It's a scooter on steroids. An Awesome entry level Offroad/Trail capable scooter, with dual motos, larger tires and with suspension front & back. If your looking for a scooter to ride trails or just a heavier beefy scooter for cruising around town you can't go wrong with the Gx1. The scooters have been a blast to ride, with good top speed & battery range it gives you more trail options to ride, without worrying that the battery will die part way through. I'm not a sales person, but the best part is that one of the 2 scooters we got had an issue right out of the box, not that that's a good thing. But Gotrax stood behind their product and sent me the replacement part without any issues. The Gx1 is an absolute awesome scooter to ride on the trail and with the dual motors makes them sure footed even with a little mud on trail from rain runoff. If you have a teenager & want to get outdoors to ride trails you won't regret it. We don't get home without looking for the next trail to ride, and best part is they fold up so you can take them with you on your next road trip. Just get out there and enjoy the outdoors.

GX1 Dual Motor Electric Scooter

Very solid and very well built. And 30mph is more than fast enough for any scooter in my opinion. I wish it had told me what the security code was because I couldn't find it in the manual, but I took a guess of 000 and it worked. I actually got this for my son's 23 year old birthday. Is it too much scooter for him? Definitely. But he will figure it out. Highly recommend.

For longer range

I live out in the country and love ripping my GOTRAX around with the kids—but where this thing really shines is on the job. I’m a refrigeration tech, and parking at stores or jobsites can be a nightmare. Instead of losing my spot when it’s time to grab lunch, I just pull out the scooter and cruise right up to the local food spot. Quick, easy, and badass.

This thing is a game changer.

First off, loving the GX1. Quick enough for around the city and around work. Actually ride it in the middle mode most of the time as it will still do about 21 mph and is easier on the battery. I did notice from day one that the brakes are extremely loud. Already ordered brake pads from Amazon and installed them. Much better; caliper adjustment may have also helped with that.(for reference I now have 48 miles on scooter) Minus a star as it did take a little bit to ship out, and there was no response to multiple emails/calls. Hope I never need warranty work as it seems they are hard to get a hold of.

The scooter is a huge upgrade from my previous scooter, which was also with GoTrax. Super smooth and handles moderate bumps very well. Great speed. Easy assemble. Just be careful with the brakes, if you’re going fast and are constantly hitting the brakes at a high speed you are likely to wear the brakes down quickly. Remember to wear a helmet!!!! Safety is very important with this one.
