I have had older Gotrax scooters and still do. This was my first upgrade. Holy cow it is a completely different experience than my first one. I can't even remember the model of the first ones. This scooter is a BEAST. It is fast ... so much so that it is not a sidewalk scooter for me. I ride down the street in traffic with traffic. Fast acceleration and it WILL hit 35 mph. So I bought 2 and my wife is afraid of it so now I have two : ). This is definitely entirely different than a traditional commuter scooter but an absolute blast if you want to change the game.
Freaking awesome scooter. Good for someone looking for a mid range scooter not too fast definitely not too slow either. Plenty of zip to it and seems pretty well built so far. I have a little more than a hundred miles on mine so far and loving it
