I’m a college student who was looking for an electric scooter that is fairly priced & reliable, this met my expectations. I use it everyday throughout the weekdays to get around campus & I usually have to charge it every 2-3 days. Overall, I’m content with my purchase.

This is a great scooter for fun with friends or going from A-B but there is a few small things, 1 the disc brake takes a lot of tinkering to not have it rub on the brake pad but also have a strong stop, 2 the bell leaver is very abrasive on the bottom so I recommend taking a file and smoothing out the bottom. Thats the only downsides but the nice thing is unlike the gxl v2 this one is rwd so it feels much better and you can kind of try to wheelie which I look forward to learning, lastly the cruise control is convenient but I do wish there was a way to disable the mode entirely the lights are nice and bright but that's it I would recommend! (I attached a photo of the filed bell)
When I received my refurbished scooter the brake caliper was broken easily replacement.
Definitely a great buy. I walk a lot for work during the week so when I'm off and around the house I don't have to walk anywhere now. I save gas also on store trips and also it's cool too scoot around the neighborhood. Thanks. Appreciate yall.
Overall, I think the Apex XL is a nice scooter and a slight step up from the Apex or GXL v2. The range however, is disappointing. I suspected it wasn't great from my first few short test rides. My short test rides were losing 1 bar before the end of my street and that's only .2 miles. I've had an Apex Pro and a GXL V2 before and both of them made a full lap (about .9 miles) before loosing a bar despite being a few years old and well used. I Decided to do my own range test.
Here's the data. 185lb rider. Scooter fresh off the charger. I made it 5 miles before the battery cut out. Took me about 30 minutes riding mostly flat residential streets at full throttle. This includes stopping at stop signs every couple blocks.
Not seeing the 15 mile range as advertised however its serving my son’s needs for getting around campus.

It is the BEST scooter in my opinion. I really recommend you buying it, it was about $400 but every penny was worth it. If you want one for your kid get the one that goes 15.5 mph. For adults get the one that goes 30. I really liked it.

I love how this thing can last for so long at the max speed and I also love how even the headlight and backlight are extremely bright at night giving vision. It charges in only 4 hours. The only thing i wish could be done is something with the tires because if i ride over a tone of bumps rocks or pebble on the ground i feel every single one of them. Otherwise this is something i believe with almost no flaws at all. Great job Gotrax for making the Apex a reality.

This scooter was the perfect gift for my daughter. It has a smooth ride, looks great, and holds all of her stuff for school.
I'm 198lbs and I can get to the max speed in 15 seconds. It's very fast for a small scooter! The wind slows it down a little bit. I use this for shopping because it's light enough to fit in a cart. I suggest the Apex to anyone who likes to commute!
We had a bit of time connecting the break but once we got it everything else was awesome. The packaging held up the product (scooter) was not damaged or scratched an any way, we assembled it safely and we charged it up and test drove it! Looking forward to getting another one!
It's a Christmas gift. Easy to assemble, looks nice. Hasn't been riden/driven yet. Sorry I can't rate it yet.

These things are worth the money. The only part I’ve had to replace is the plug to recharge the scooter on one of the three I’ve purchased. Just purchased our fourth scooter for my son.
