I got the self balancing gotrax for my 6 yr old daughter for Christmas. She hasn’t been able to ride it since! Self balancing does not make it easier. Every time my daughter steps on it, it pulls and she falls!!! One foot on and it’s pulling before she can even get her other foot up! I tried several times to turn it off and it just doesn’t shut off. She’s riding her older brothers that does not pull her in every direction.
The hoverboard was fun for a while but then the control board failed and the company wouldn’t warranty it. It was less than a year old. Don’t bother - it’s too cheap.
Bought a gotrax hoverboard for my 10 year old son for Christmas. It lasted less than six months before it stopped driving on one side. Now gotrax doesn’t sell that model or offer parts for it anymore. Their solution? Give me $20 off a current model scooter. $20! Now I have a $200 boat anchor AND the go kart attachment to go along with it! Only reason I gave a one star review was because zero wasn’t an option!
