Always gotten me where I needed to go and than some at 184 lb, always gotten me back home, OVER HILLS AND OVER BUMPS even in drizzle and light rain......JUST TRY TO AVOID RAIN IF YOU CAN. BATTERY STILLS TOPS AT 20 BUT SUSTAINS 18-19 MILES AN HOUR UNLIKE THE FIRST SEASON AT 20 MILES AN HOUR SO I PRESUME I WILL GET A COUPLE MORE YEARS BEFORE I WORRY ABOUT A BATTERY REPLACEMENT THIS SCOOTER WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY AND A GOOD U LOCK IS ALL YOU NEED to secure between daily commutes.

This is my second summer with the g5 and I must say it's worth every penny, it has stood up to it's offers to the letter and through the rain and hills it always gotten me home without fail. I've been using the G5 Folding Electric Scooter for a few weeks, and it's been an excellent investment! Just hit 960 miles on this scooter. I’ve had it for over 2 years and is a very reliable scooter. Sadly the battery is Dying so it only goes 13mph. Good scooter though would recommend.

Reliable. Headlight should be brighter. After 18 months, this scooter accelerates slower than my G4. The battery life is shorter than G4. And I MISS the lock in stem.

But its very reliable

I’ve traveled 1710 miles and it still can travel 19miles on a full charge it used to travel 25 when it was new but it is still good. It is very well built and long lasting. The acceleration is insane on this thing I way 115 I think that’s why but overall this is one of the best budget scooters well worth buying. So you know I’ve had to replace the back tire once and the customer service was well but it could be better. DEAR GOTRAX THANKYOU FOR CREATING THIS SCOOTER.

I’ve had my go trax scooter for less than a week and I’ve tried many scooters, the back tire has already lost air and it is physically impossible to fill it back up. As shown in photo it took me 45 minutes to unscrew the cap itself and now it get to the valve and you cannot access it. I’ve seeen several people have this issue and they use a metal cutter to make a bigger hole. Can the company not make it as easy as the front tire? I’m so confused and I can’t get help. I’m just going to have to return. Make sure you check the small stuff guys!! Also the g 5 has a terrible security function. It will still roll when locked out. Loved it for the first night I had it as I have such smooth roads where I’m at. Good luck!!

I’ve had this scooter for about 6 months now, and i have no complaints at all. I just wanted to write a review saying that someone cut the additional bike lock i had on the scooter, but they weren’t able to get away with my scooter because of the code feature! I’m so grateful for that they weren’t able to start it or even walk away with it! The blue lights also made it easy to spot once i realized it had been stolen. Can’t recommend this scooter enough!

Love my G5!!

This scooter is quite the upgrade from my earlier model GOTRAX. It is much faster, much more stable, has cool lights, and has a much better range. The wide platform makes it easier to ride and the additional weight makes the scooter very rock solid when riding.

Gotrax upgraded my G4 with a new G5. This scooter rides incredibly, feels sturdier and performs exceptionally. Gotrax service and concern for customers is unparalleled. They not only backed their product, but when my G4 had unrepairable issues they replaced it with an upgrade. I know every situation is different, but Gotrax went above and beyond to rectify any issues I had. What a great product, customer service and integrity bound company!

Love the go trax but the speed on it should go a little fast I'm thinking instead of 20 mph it should be more like 25 mph just me my thoughts

We are so happy our local bike shop retailer recommended this GoTrax G5 folding scooter. It is worth every dollar spent. Our grandkids love it.
We love the two handled brake system and all the nice features included. Accelerates smoothly and the braking system is smooth too.

My scooter stopped accelerating after two days of use and gave me a E5 error code

Bought this as a gift for my granddaughter, she absolutely loves it.

Great scooter for the price, suspension is able to take a lot of abuse from bad roads, batery for me on average makes kt around 30-45 miles, more if you don't always use sports mode. 20mph is a good speed... No real complaints
