Originally I bought 2 of these for me and my daughter. We went out an had a good time she’s tall enough for it at 8 years old. Just bought a 3rd one for the wife so we all can go out together. First day we put 40miles on it and still had battery left. Would highly recommend the Gmx

I have been using it for quite some time now and I like the feeling of it, but it is a little shaky.
But other than that, it's a bit scooter.

I enjoy riding this scooter a lot. It is a bit heavier than I am used to because I have had the Elite and the engine is smaller and its lighter. Once I got used to this one I can ride it better. It takes a bit more effort to jump when bumps come up, but I've gotten the hang of it, I enjoy the smooth ride and the speed. The range is always half of what any company estimates in my opinion. I was able to get 24 miles from it the other day and down to one bar when I got home. I did 15 as my max speed. I still enjoy riding around the town. The safety feature of the code is love/hate for me as I didnt know it had reset and it couldn't unlock and I had to watch videos to see it was the default code. Anyways, there is stuff I love and hate about each ride I have. All in all, this is a great scooter and lots of fun to ride. I hope it lasts a long time.

GMAX Electric Scooter

This scooter is great! The kids are having a blast with it.

I carefully did my research for several months and decided to buy a gmax after reading so many great reviews. Unfortunately for me, I bought a lemon. I test drove it for 6 miles and it was the worst experience, there was so much vibration that it affected my vision, my vision was completely blurred for the entire time riding. I called customer service as soon as I got home and explained my situation, told them I want to return it and they told me I had to pay for shipping plus a 30% restocking fee for a defective scooter they sold me. I also emailed customer support on 3 different dates and they ignored me all 3 times and never got back to me. Gotrax has extremely bad business practices in my experience. I purchased my scooter on august 24th 2025 and here it is September 18th and the scooter is still sitting in my closet and nobody has even bothered to answer my emails yet. Im not saying that you should not buy a gotrax scooter or bike, all im saying is do your research before you buy, know that if your product is defective, you will have to pay a 30% restocking fee plus shipping to return it. I even offered to upgrade to a more expensive model at my cost and they told me I still have to pay for the shipping plus 30% restocking fee.

It said up to 20 mph top speed is 15.5. Its cool for vegetable and flower delivery.

Scooter is working great, but good luck getting GoTrax to pick up the phone, call you back or answer an email.

My kids love the quality of this scooter. The speed ismt too fast, and the battery has great life so far.

Its a nice scooter with good range. Have enough power to make the ride feel comfortable.

I got it instead of a kirkin g2 because of to range and it does not disappoint. It has never died and I have gone pretty far on this thing. Highly recommend for teens from 14 to any age.

These scooters are so fun! Great to go around exploring and checking out different city’s to see all the things you don’t normally see while driving a car. Great battery life with a good amount of speed I can’t complain one bit.

You get a lot of bang for the buck. Excellent on trails with plenty of power. Two motors pulls me up on some of the steepest hills in San Francisco.

I put over 1300 miles on my first one, and decided to get a second one and pass along my old one still in working condition. Customer service was slow on my first one so hoping for quicker service if ever needed. My boyfriend and I go on 15+ mile backroad excursions often without issue. Great value and ability to commute.

I was in a rush and got hit by a car. The scooter was under his car because the tire ran it over. He then backed up to get the scooter from under his car. So he ran it over twice. I then rode it home, about 6 miles. The back metal piece rubs against the scooter when I accelerate but that being the only damage is amazing. I can still ride it but using my warranty because I fear it will mess up on me mid-ride. Top notch scooter, built to last and that's something I vouch for.

This scooter is awesome the 20 mph is fast it’s a lil heavy but it’s just like the scooter on the street heavy duty I can’t wait for the summer to really get out and ride. I like how you can lock it on the screen and also on the side extra security.

Great gift for my 12 year old son. He loves it. It was easy to set up.

The GMAX has been a life saver getting around my university campus. The pick up and speed the scooter has along with the long range makes it a fun ride at the same time. The scooter is well made and so far has put up with close to 200 miles of use with no signs of ware. All this combined with the built in security features which works as a great theft deterrent makes this a must buy model.
