2024 is shaping up to be an exciting year for GOTRAX, and we’re starting it off with a bang. Meet the MX1, our first ever mid-drive electric bike! This powerful electric ride is highly capable and extremely reliable, and we’re excited to show off everything that makes it stand above the rest.
The MX1’s most unique feature is its mid-drive motor, a first among GOTRAX e-bikes. Our other e-bikes feature hub motors, which sit in the center of the bike’s rear wheel. Mid-drive motors, on the other hand, are located closer to the center of the bike. This has a massive impact on the bike’s performance, making the motor more efficient and balancing the bike’s weight toward the middle of the frame. The MX1 takes full advantage of these benefits, using its 500 watt mid-drive motor to provide a powerful, stable, and long-lasting ride while tackling hills and trails with ease. It's a great companion for both city and lighter off-road riding, making it a versatile choice for riders who enjoy biking in all kinds of situations.
Of course, the MX1 comes with a number of other great features as well. Its adjustable front suspension and 27.5” pneumatic tires easily handle bumps and shocks in the road, keeping your ride comfortable while tackling both paved and unpaved roads. Its high-capacity battery makes full use of the bike’s efficient motor to give you an incredible range of up to 82 miles, our longest e-bike range yet. The battery is removable too, so it’s easy to bring inside for charging. The bike even comes with a convenient rear cargo rack to hold anything you don’t feel like carrying. Combine that with rear- and front-wheel disc brakes and a clear digital display, and you have a ride that’s capable of taking on plenty of adventures.
So whether you’re looking to make light work of a hilly commute or conquer smoother mountain trails, the MX1 is ready to take you wherever you need to go. We’re excited to branch out into new territory with the MX1, and we hope you'll join us for the ride. No matter where or how you ride, just remember to stay safe, follow the rules of the trail, and always wear a helmet!
