GOTRAX joined Maria for a quick bite and to hear a little bit about the growing super star
Q: Can you start by telling us a little bit about where you’re from and where you live now?
A: I am originally from American Falls,a very small town in Idaho. I am currently living in Chicago, Illinois where I play professional soccer for the Chicago Red Stars.
Q: What goes through your head when you first wake up in the morning?
A: I think about what I have planned for the day. What I will be having for every meal and what I will do after practice.
Q: How old were you when you first started playing soccer?
A: I started playing when I was about 3 years old.
Q: Tell us one of your favorite moments in your Soccer Career?
A: One of my favorite moments of my soccer career was having my jersey retired from my high school in American Falls.
Q: Who are your heroes? Who do you look up to?
A: I look up to my parents because they are very hard working, but one of my biggest soccer role models has been Cristiano Ronaldo.
Q: What inspires you?
A: My biggest inspiration is my family. I always try to make them proud with everything I do.
Q: Describe your daily commute?
A: Our stadium is 14 miles away from where we live so we have to drive everyday.
Q: How has your commute changed since getting a Gotrax scooter?
A: Since our stadium is far we unfortunately can’t ride our scooters, but our weight sessions are two miles away and we are now able to scooter there. We are also able to scoot to the local grocery stores and explore new restaurants in the nearby communities.
Q: What are your favorite places to ride our GXL V2 e-scooters?
A: Katie and I have taco Tuesdays and we ride our scooters to Pilsen (a Hispanic community) and find a new taco place every week.
Q: What do you use your (product) for?
A: I use my scooter to explore the city of Chicago and surrounding areas.
Q: What do you do for fun?
A: On my free time I like to experience new places to eat or drink coffee around the city.
Q: What’s your favorite thing about our (product)?
A: It gets you around places easily. Usually places in Chicago are too far for a walk and too close for a drive so having the scooters has made it simple and enjoyable.
Q: What haven't you accomplished that you aspire to do in your lifetime?
A: Represent Mexico in the Olympic Games.
