Great little scooter, but you get what you pay for. The low cost of this scooter is amazing, but it translates into a couple things about the ride. No suspension, just shock-absorbing wheels, so bumps can still feel pretty gnarly. The range is advertised as 12-14 miles, but that all depends on how much time you spend going uphill. Going from my home to work, then from work to the store, then from the store back home is a total of 8.3 miles and it was just about dead by the time I got home. Once you get below 50% battery, the power really starts to drag, making the top speed go down to around 12mph. Can go up gradual inclines no problem, losing a couple mph as you go up. but steep hills are a no-go with this thing. I still use the throttle to ease the walk uphill, just feathering it as I walk so the scooter pulls me more than I'm pushing it. Flat terrain is a breeze though, downhill as well. Going downhill will get you moving faster than the limited 15.5mph, which is nice but a little sketchy with the small wheels and lack of suspension. The brake works really well, but stopping quickly when moving fast results in skidding and fishtailing, so make sure you are riding carefully in places where you may need to stop suddenly. the day I got mine was the first day of a 2 week stretch of rain. I rode in light/moderate rain almost every day to work and back and never had any issues with it shorting out or misbehaving due to the electronics getting wet. Very impressed with that. All around a really decent scooter for anyone's first scooter. It was my first and it has me already looking up other electric scooters and bikers that have a little more power and a little more range.
