Dual motor electric scooters feature a motor in both the front and rear wheels. These scooters offer better performance and more features than their single motor counterparts, though they also tend to weigh more as well. All GOTRAX dual motor eScooters have the ability to fold, which helps to keep them portable. We recommend dual motor eScooters for more experienced riders who want a bit more speed and power than a single motor eScooter can provide.

Any of our single motor electric scooters would be a great beginner eScooter. In general, new riders will want to look for lightweight and folding eScooters with helpful features like physical or digital locking mechanisms and an LED headlight.
