I purchased a GoTrax Gmax scooter for my son as a Christmas gift. He road it quite constantly ever since and loves it.
Around the end of April it started acting up. The battery charger light was green, but the display would blink on then off. The scooter would not turn on.
I contacted customer service and received a response in less than a day. The support person Honey was excellent and prompt in responding. I was asked for information on what the scooter was doing, proof of purchase and a video of the behavior. The first diagnosis by support was that the display may be the cause. I was promptly sent a whole new unit and instructed how to install it. Very easy with the right tools.
It turned out that was not the cure. The next possibility was the battery. I was then sent a whole new battery after removing the old one to supply a picture that would ensure I was sent the correct one.
Sure enough that was the issue. The scooter is up and running. My son is happy again. I incurred no cost due to the excellent warranty. The entire experience was professional and speaks to the quality and integrity of the GoTrax company.
